a shreadlines piece by paul conneally made from cut up headlines from a dicarded newspaper - pieces are put in a bag and then randomly selected - maker must use three or more to make a new headline - shreadline - any not used are put back in the bag - this piece existed for about ten minutes in the chemically coded world but was digitally photographed for archive purposes

Saw some of this work in the flesh recently. Some of the pieces were digital prints (like the one here) on paper and others were the actual bits of newspaper pasted on old carboard boxes that had been flattened - these had more impact I think although the idea of the digital prints being of something that only existed for a few minutes in reality before being thrown away makes them more suitable for here I suppose.
